Smartphone experience Redefined – With Asus Zenfone 2

Wednesday, 15 April 2015

For a gadget freak like me, it is difficult to satiate my hunger for a good smartphone experience. There are many a things that I look for in a phone that I use. Camera, Memory, Battery life, performance etc. And among the phones that I used, one has a few aspects while the other has something different. But on the whole, they lacked everything that I want.

The latest smartphone by Asus, the Zenfone 2 seems promising enough to cater to my needs and redefine my smartphone experience.

Here is a list of five such specifications that fascinated me and made me feel that this could be the one I could fall in love with.

It of course would start with a camera. I am a photography lover and a lack of DSLR makes me rely on my phone camera for the pictures. So, I look for better quality and megapixels in the camera of the mobile to ensure optimum photography experience. A 13 Megapixel rear camera with a dual LED dual tone flash seems promising enough to keep up with the photographer-me! Also, not to forget the 5MP front camera that’s always on the go for my selfie marathon.

2    Build Quality and Looks
I am a kind of a person who’s always clumsy and often times it reflects on the phone. Also, I yearn for stylishness of the phone as the looks give you extra marks. The good build quality of the phone, the gorilla glass and the availability in various colors is definitely something to watch out for.

           Faster Charging
Fast charging what? This is something that made me jump in joy almost immediately. At the rate with which I use my phone and how long it stays in my hands, the battery doesn’t last for more than a couple of hours. And then I have to wait for longer time until the battery gets charged. This wait is one of the worst waits in my life. The fast charging spec with up to 60% charging in 40 minutes and the 3000mAh battery brings me nothing but absolute joy.

       The Display
This is another trait in a phone that I watch out for. After all, what’s a screen without a great way to look at it? The 5.5 inch full HD1920x1080 resolution screen, 403ppi density and the Gorilla screen protection is something that vouches for a great screen-experience.

A phone without fast processing is like a slow internet. Also, when the phone crashes and hangs up, I just feel like throwing it. I hope the Intel Atom Z3560 chipset with a 1.8GHz quad-core processor, Power VR G6430 GPU looks promising enough to take those worries away from me.
With the above mentioned qualities I’m looking forward to and many other specifications like the Memory, Network (4G is something I am waiting for), Sensors and much more, I think, Asus Zenfone could redefine my smartphone experience and reach to a greater heights in my gadget-freaky mind.
